You will be working in a social and energetic team of 6 and get full exposure to management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement projects and business partnering.

You will be working with a world-leading electrical manufacturing business based in Alexandria, NSW. On-site parking included.

Paying up to 125k + Super, but with flexibility for outstanding candidates.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management reports to track financial performance against budget, forecasts, and historical data.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budget and forecast for each profit and cost centre, supporting decision-making processes.
Provide weekly stock analysis and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Prepare detailed margin analysis by product, customer category, sales channel, and division.
Conduct periodic statistical reporting and provide insights to guide management decisions.
Assist with the standard costing processes for all products and maintain cost control for overheads, logistics, travel, and marketing expenses.
Perform daily sales reporting and analysis, along with weekly KPI reports covering inventory, logistics, and profitability by product, channel, and customer.
Analyse customer rebates, promotions, and pricing strategies to identify cost-saving and profitability opportunities.
Assist in the month-end process and support various ad-hoc projects within the Finance Department.
Support internal and external audits, including transfer pricing procedures.
Contribute to the budgeting process, data collection, and analysis for sustainability and group/statutory reporting.
Maintain and enhance management information systems to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.

Profile:

CA, CPA or equivalent qualified. Those not qualified or studying towards will still be considered
Proven experience as a Management Accountant, in a multi-sited business.
Exposure to stock, inventory and cost accounting.
Experience working in an international business with overseas reporting lines
Problem solver mentality
A commercial mindset and able to look for opportunity to improve and create efficiencies.
Systems savvy with experience using complex, multi-faceted systems
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
