Edward Mann is recruiting for an Account Executive on behalf of an exciting Australian Tech start up. The role is paying up to 120K base (up to 200k OTE)) + super & based on experience. The OTE is just in year 1 and you should anticipate the ceiling being far higher in years to come.
Based in Sydney and offering great hybrid working options!
It will be a challenging role that will give you full exposure & great autonomy in developing sales strategies that will supercharge the business’ growth over the coming years. You will need to be agile, adaptable, and able to build & foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
About the Role
Your day-to-day will involve:
As an Junior AE you will be working alongside one of the businesses co-founders and existing sales team to spearhead business growth. You will endeavour to connect with key managers within educational institutions.
You will focus on the following core responsibilities:
Outbound calls, emails and messages to prospects in Australia to generate proactive sales leads.
Execute strategic outbound campaigns and targeted approaches to customers and prospects in our core markets
Represent Clipboard’s products and services and use your knowledge to explain how they meet prospects' needs.
Ask discovery questions that allow you to determine the prospect's needs and biggest challenges
Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
Record prospect information in CRM database
Your Skills and Experience
Sales within Software/technology business will be highly regarded (SaaS)
An outstanding communicator, both written (especially email) and verbal, with the ability to relate to others
Comfortable with cold outreach and picking up the phone
You are highly organised, self-motivated, and have a reasonable level of technical proficiency
