Job Title: Learning and Development Consultant


Location: New York City, NY (On-site/ Hybrid)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Trainer / L&D Consultant to join our fast-paced sales organization in the heart of New York City. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the skills and performance of sales professionals through strategic learning initiatives, with a special focus on, onboarding new hires. As an L&D Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and assessing training programs that foster continuous improvement and drive the success of our sales team from day one.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Program Development:

    Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new sales hires are set up for success from their first day. Provide clear, structured learning pathways to accelerate ramp-up time and improve productivity.

  • Facilitate Onboarding Sessions:

    Deliver engaging, interactive onboarding sessions (both in-person and virtually) to ensure new employees understand the company culture, product offerings, and sales processes.

  • Design and Implement Training Programs:

    Develop customized learning solutions, including workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training to enhance overall sales competencies.

  • Assess Learning Needs:

    Collaborate with sales leaders and HR to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement across the sales organization, especially during the early stages of a sales professional’s journey.

  • Evaluate Program Effectiveness:

    Monitor and measure the impact of onboarding and training initiatives through feedback, performance metrics, and follow-up assessments.

  • Sales Enablement Support:

    Provide continuous coaching, mentoring, and support to both new hires and seasoned sales teams to help them meet and exceed performance targets.

  • Content Creation:

    Develop high-quality training materials such as guides, presentations, and assessments to support various learning formats, with special attention to materials for new hire orientation and sales-specific onboarding.

  • Stay Current with Industry Trends:

    Keep abreast of new learning technologies, methodologies, and sales trends to ensure training is aligned with business needs.

  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the sales management team to align learning strategies with business goals and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
