Edward Mann are hiring for an excellent client within the healthcare sector. They are looking for a Payroll and Accounting Manager to join the team. This is an on-site role with the option to move to Hybrid (3 days in office) after 3-6 months.
Position Overview – Accounting Manager
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000
The Accounting Manager will oversee payroll processing and general accounting for the organization. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, GAAP standards, and leads the implementation and management of Paycom payroll software. The Manager will streamline payroll and accounting operations, support accurate financial reporting, and help develop infrastructure for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Management
Lead month-end close processes and ensure general ledger reconciliation.
Prepare journal entries for acquisitions and special projects.
Produce financial statements, KPIs, and variance analysis for management.
Treasury & Compliance
Manage cash flow and banking infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with payroll and accounting regulations.
Lead internal and external audits.
Payroll Management
Manage payroll for salaried, hourly, and contract staff.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax filings.
Oversee Paycom implementation and troubleshooting.
Reconcile payroll accounts, including 401K, bonuses, and accruals.
Work with HR to onboard new practices and align systems.
Team Leadership
Supervise a team of seven, providing mentorship and training.
Drive process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
