Edward Mann is partnering with a leading client to recruit a Financial Controller who will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and development. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with key operational leaders and support the business as it expands. The position offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.
Financial Controller
Financial Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with regional goals and long-term objectives.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Financial Operations:
Serve as the primary financial and strategic advisor for the region.
Manage and update the region's balanced scorecard.
Oversee daily financial operations in collaboration with the Regional Vice President (RVP), including managing accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities.
Review expenditures and audit results to ensure compliance with company policies; recommend policy adjustments to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as needed.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency.
Work with other departments to streamline processes and enhance financial effectiveness.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.
Stakeholder Partnering:
Act as the main point of contact for all financial inquiries and concerns within the region.
Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including other regions, internal teams, and field personnel.
