Edward Mann is partnering with a leading client to recruit a Financial Controller who will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and development. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with key operational leaders and support the business as it expands. The position offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.

Financial Controller

Financial Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with regional goals and long-term objectives.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.

  • Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.

Financial Operations:

  • Serve as the primary financial and strategic advisor for the region.

  • Manage and update the region's balanced scorecard.

  • Oversee daily financial operations in collaboration with the Regional Vice President (RVP), including managing accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities.

  • Review expenditures and audit results to ensure compliance with company policies; recommend policy adjustments to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as needed.

  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency.

  • Work with other departments to streamline processes and enhance financial effectiveness.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.

Stakeholder Partnering:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all financial inquiries and concerns within the region.

  • Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including other regions, internal teams, and field personnel.
