​Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a professional services business based in Adelaide CBD. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent part-time basis - 4 days a week, with flexibility around which 4 days.

Paying up to 75k + Super FTE, this role would be 4 days in-office.

You will get the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and learn from a high performing finance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong AP/AR experience and the ability to support across month end and reconciliations. 

Responsibilities

  • Process payments across both AP & AR.

  • Oversight of business bank accounts.

  • Journals and month-end support.

  • Payroll data collation and liaise with the external payroll provider.

  • Reconciliations - Credit Card, Bank and Petty cash.

  • Trust account administration - Accurately manage and maintain trust account records, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Proven experience working in an accounting role within a professional services environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey ideas and concepts clearly.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organised and able to multi-task.

  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
